Last weeks Game Developers Conference revealed new information regarding Gran Turismo 5. SCEA Director of Hardware Marketing John Koller mentioned that Gran Turismo 5 would be released “across all platforms”.
“Ultimately, they [Polyphony Digital] are a developer who makes a lot of their own decisions, but we are looking at GT5 across all platforms, just to see what makes the most sense. [...] Seriously though, there is really nothing we can really say about it, other than it’s a franchise we would like to continue. So, other than that, we don’t really have any announcements regarding the game at this time.”
Does this mean that if Polyphony gets desperate, they will release Gran Turismo 5 to the XBOX 360, PSP, or even the PC? Don’t get your hopes up you 360 fans. There is no confirmation but due to the fact that Polyphony is a Sony company, the Gran Turismo series will likely never leave the Playstation family. So this leaves us with the possibility of Gran Turismo Mobile for the PSP and a PC version of Gran Turismo 5.
We will learn more about this exciting new update as time continues. Right now, though, it is safe to say that Gran Turismo will never make the jump to the XBOX 360. Sorry 360 fans!

Only just realized its wont be on xbox!!! Gutted!:( I did have a ps3 but it got nicked n couldnt afford the ps3

You know that’s unfortunate as i have been a big GT fan and was looking forward to playing it. But Honestly, I will never buy a Ps3 just to play one game. Hmmm. maybe my friend will get it. But, I will definately buy it when it comes to X360. Have faith that they wont leave us out. and if they do? Well maybe it just wasn’t good enough for us. For we all know that the X360 community only wants the best.

Gran Turismo is released to XBOX360 YAY but forza 3 is better
Im buying a xbox 360 at the end of the week. Had PS1 & PS2, but PS3 is just to expensive. I dont even like the xbox that much, But i cant keep on playing PS2 while saving for my PS3. So sad.
Heres some advise if you have a xbox 360 go for forza 3 if you have a ps3 go for Gran Turismo 5
the only reason y i would get gt5 is cuz of the nascar spront cup racing, other than that forza 3 is as good, if not betta!!
I have an xbox, love it too bits, but i would pretty seriously consider buying a PS3 just for Gran Turismo 5. In no way can you say Forza 3 is better, im sorry but honestly, all you have to do is look at the announcments for it from E3 and it’ll blow your mind, swear it will almost certainly change your mind. I wish so bad this came would come to the 360, but it is so unlikely, might have to start saving for a PS3
